Then the role of bProject Engineer Mechanical Engineering (WTB) /b at bTeijin Aramid in Delfzijl /b is the perfect next step for you! /p h3The Role /h3 pYou play an important role in realizing improvements and innovations to existing installations and equipment, with a strong focus on mechanical engineering. You deliver investment projects that meet the required standards, following company and safety guidelines, within the agreed timeframe and budget. You report directly to the Team Lead Engineering. /p pThis position is part of the local Engineering team, which operates within the overarching Maintenance organization and works on improvement, replacement and new-build projects at Teijin Aramid’s production site in Delfzijl. /p pbWhat will you do as Project Engineer? /b /p ul liAdvise on improvements and innovations related to (mechanical) installations /li liIndependently lead investment projects, including carrying out or outsourcing preliminary studies, developing technical solutions for mechanical engineering challenges, and preparing investment proposals /li liRequest and evaluate offers from external parties (supported by Procurement) /li liEnsure optimal alignment between different disciplines and departments, while monitoring progress of the projects in your portfolio /li liEnsure that drawings and PIDs of completed projects are properly (updated and) documented /li /ul h3About the company and location /h3 pWe are Teijin Aramid, the world’s leading aramid producer. After drying, the polymer is packaged and transported to our large production site in Emmen, where it is spun into Twaron®. /p h3Your Profile /h3 pYou hold a bBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering /b (or equivalent). With a few years of experience in a similar role, you are able to motivate people and effectively share knowledge with colleagues, internal clients and suppliers. /p pIn addition, you bring: /p ul liSolid experience working for or with a production organization, as well as experience leading projects /li liStrong ability to act as the technical gatekeeper for delivered engineering work /li liProficiency in both English and Dutch, spoken and written /li liCompetencies that match the role: team player, strong organizational skills, independent and results-oriented /li /ul pNot able to tick every box yet, but motivated to grow into the role of Project Engineer WTB?
